The Sustainable Banana Plan

On December 5, 2008, the Banana sector of Guadeloupe & Martinique reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable agriculture by signing the Sustainable Banana Plan to guide its operations towards a greater focus on sustainability.

PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT + BIODIVERSITY

To produce the most virtuous bananas, the Banana sector in Guadeloupe & Martinique invests in innovation and continues to develop its practices for preserving natural resources.

Thanks to these best practices, the banana farms of Guadeloupe and Martinique are now a refuge for many animal species. This biodiversity helps protect the crops.
